Yoga Therapy is not a symptom-focused but a whole body-focused approach. My love of anatomy, interest in the nervous system and appreciation of all the layers of being are woven into my assessment, considerations and offerings.


What a session looks like:

Through one-on-one sessions we will go through an intake and discuss reasons for seeking therapeutic-based yoga and goals for working together. Based on the information shared, if appropriate for complaint, I will do a physical assessment. Based on the assessment and our time together, I will offer postures, movement, self-myofascial release, breath work and/or meditation to create a time-accessible and individualized home practice. While respecting and considering the interconnectedness of body, mind and spirit, our work together will be trying to find the root of the problem, limitation or complaint so you can get back to what is meaningful to you.

Yoga Therapy, with its many facets and teachings, is client centered and can support in creating change in your experience. In a compassionate and non-judgemental environment, we can work together to help with:

  • Physical injuries/complaints
  • Increasing mobility and/or strength

  • PTSD and Trauma

  • Regulating the nervous system

  • Grief

  • Depression

  • Chronic pain

  • Anxiety
